WASTED YEARS IN AMERICA
Episode 3
They bent down slowly and used cartons to cover themselves. They peeped through some holes in the carton and saw them afar of. They were four horrible men with hefty bodies.
“Ah walai! Koni da fun Ramoni (Ramoni will never succeed in any way)” Sule, one of the men shouted angrily in Yoruba dialect.
“Kilo de? Kini mo se? Ti en sepe fun mi bayi (What happened? What did I do, that you are swearing for me this way?). Ramoni replied.
“Your papa, no be you say make we come hide am here?” Wasiu shouted.
“Hey! Hey! E don do for una two o. No be say because I dey keep quiet una go wan dey shout for me anyhow. Abeg make una maintain o. I nuh do bad wey I say make we hide am here”, Ramoni replied angrily.
“See guys Ramoni nuh do bad as hin say make we hide am here. Na for our own good”. Yusuf said.
“Yusuf. You know wether hin don go comot am secretly?” Asked Sule.
“Ahn, ahn. How hin go do that kind of thing. No forget say since we keep the bag here, Ramoni dey with us all through out for that club. Hin no go anywhere. So why you go dey think like that”. Yusuf replied.
“You know wwether hin don use text message send person to come carry the the bag? You know who we be na. We nuh fit trust ourselves”.
“Na your papa na hin type the message for me? Wetin dey worry you na, Wasiu. I nuh mind to kill you here o”.
Na me you wan kill? This night, we go kill ourselves for here”.
“Hey! Abeg! Nuh be wetin carry us come here”. Wasiu said as he and Yusuf seperated them. “Make we find this bag. Na the most important thing be that. See how we risked our lives. What if we got caught? Na Jail straight. Please, let’s look for the bag. All our effort can’t be wasted”.
They stopped fighting and started looking for the bag. As they were searching, they got closer to the huge stack of cartons Mike and Paul were hiding. Wasiu stretched fort his hand to scatter the cartons in front of him.
